1. The Bottom EPDM Rubber Astragal: We utilize commercial-grade Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber. For uneven or sinking driveways, we use oversized 6-inch seals or specialized brush flaps to crush into the voids.
2. Heavy-Duty Aluminum Retainers: We custom-cut and screw heavy-gauge aluminum retainers to the bottom of the lowest door panel to firmly grip the new rubber T-track, ensuring it will never sag or droop.
3. Perimeter Side & Top Stops: The vertical tracks and the top header must be sealed to stop aggressive sideways rain. We precisely nail PVC stop moldings embedded with flexible vinyl flaps to the exterior frame. When the door closes, it actively pushes against the flaps, completing a tight wind barrier.
